How can I
register online if I don’t have a credit card?
You can use a PayPal account to pay registration fees
online for the scrapbook convention. If you do not have a PayPal account, please follow
the steps provided on the PayPal site to set up an account. Here is a link

What type of parking is available at the Embassy Suites and Von
Braun Center and what is the cost?
Parking is available for hotel guests at the Embassy Suites hotel at
a cost of $4.00 per day. The Embassy Suites is connected via
an interior walkway to the South Hall reception area of the Von
Braun Center. The convention will be held in South Hall II.
Parking is
available at the Von Braun Center for a charge of $5.00 per day. There is
a parking garage located underneath the South Hall. Please click on the
Driving Directions link for specific directions to the parking lots and a
parking map of the Von Braun Center.
What
are my dining options?
The Embassy Suites Hotel offers full service
dining through their on site restaurant, Ruth Chris Steakhouse as well as a much
lighter fare in their lobby level store. Hotel guests receive a
complimentary cooked to order breakfast each day and a managers reception each
evening.
Limited concessions at the Von Braun Center will
be available during the show dates.

Classes, Crops, and Showroom tickets can easily be reviewed and purchased from
the following links - Classes, Crop Party, Showroom - located in the menu on the
left side of each page. If you
would like to purchase a ticket from these pages just
click the Add one to Basket link located with each events information. A window will open showing your
selection and a field to enter your name or the name of the person that will be
attending the class or crop. Please enter the attendee's name and then
click on the continue button. This will add the class to your shopping
basket with a quantity of 1. You can change the quantity by typing in the
desired amount and clicking on the update button. However if you need
multiple tickets to the same event, it is preferable to continue shopping and go
back and add the same event again and enter the additional names. Since we
use ticketless manifests for entrance into the classes, we need the first and
last name of the person attending the class.
To continue to add items to your basket just click the Close Window button and
you will be taken back to the exact spot you left on the previous page. If
you are ready to checkout click the checkout link located in the purple bar at
the top of your screen. You will have the option to use regular check out
or Google check out for those people set up to use that type of payment. To view items in your basket just click
the view basket link.

How do I review the
contents of my Shopping basket?
To review the contents of your Shopping Basket at any time just click the
View Basket link. To review the contents of your Shopping Basket from the
Online Store just click the Basket Contents link at the top.

You can save your billing information in a personal account to speed up the
checkout process. It is not necessary to create an account to purchase
tickets but it does save time. The only information stored is your billing
address and Email address. You will be asked to provide a userid and
password. The userid and password are chosen and entered by you.
They can be of any length and contain numbers or characters. Be sure to
click the Save button in the lower right hand corner after you have entered your
information. Please keep this information handy when registration opens.

link on the Store Front. Next click the
create new account link or just click

How do I make sure that my friends and I all sit at the same table
during the crops?
During the 2007 convention, general seating at the crops will not be
assigned. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore, it is no
longer necessary to purchase all crop tickets on one order. If you are
with a group of 3 or more, you may send an email to
info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com
requesting reserved seating for your group
after
you have purchased your tickets. The email must contain the name and order
number of each crop attendee. If you anticipate adding people to your
group, please wait and send us an email closer to the event. We will be
unable to process requests with incomplete information, or any requests received
after September 15th, 2007.

Are there any
discounts offered on showroom admission prices?
You may purchase discounted showroom admission tickets online when
registration opens June 26th. Further discounted showroom tickets are
available and offered through the shopping cart when you purchase class or
certain crop tickets. You will be offered this special price when you
go to checkout through the online store.

What if I register for the wrong class or have a conflict
on my schedule?
You may contact us within 7 days by email after you register to correct
any workshop conflicts in your schedule. Registration for
workshops during crop hours are not considered in conflict. You
must provide the following information in your email:
Attendee name
Order Number
Telephone number for us to contact you
Names and days of conflicting events

What if I cannot attend the convention after I have
registered?
You may exchange classes or
activities for classes or activities of equal or lesser value at no cost
up until August 30th, at 10:00 pm Central Daylight Savings Time by
sending an email to
info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com with the following information:
Attendee's Name
Order Number
Class name and session you wish to exchange
Class name and session you wish to add
A telephone number where we can contact you
If you would like to cancel a class or activity, a $5 fee per
workshop hour length will be charged for each workshop or activity
dropped during the cancellation period. Workshops 1 hour in length
will incur a $5.00 fee, a 90 minute workshop will incur a $7.50 fee, a
120 minute workshop will incur a $10.00 fee; a 180 minute workshop will
incur a $30.00 charge. Cancellation of nightly crop tickets will
incur a $10.00 charge for each crop and cancellation of a Can't Get
Enough Croppin' ticket will incur a $40.00 charge. No changes or
refunds will be permitted after September 1st at 10:00 pm Central
Daylight Savings Time. There are no refunds on showroom
admission passes. All refunds will be issued after the show dates;
there are no exceptions.
A message board will be available during the show dates near the ticket
booth to post tickets you may wish to sell.
Baggage Check
A baggage check area will be available to store oversized strollers,
totes and packages for a nominal fee per day. You may retrieve and
add to your stored items throughout the day for the same fee.

Many ISPs filter e-mail to keep spam out of your Inbox. As a result,
they occasionally filter out e-mail that you want to receive. To
ensure delivery of our emails, you may want to add us to your email
service provider or email software "Allowed Sender" or "Whitelist".
AOL: Place the domain – simplysouthernscrapbook.com – in your Address
Book. AOL v.9.0 users: Be sure to add info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com
to your buddy list or address book.
EarthLink: To avoid having our emails blocked by EarthLink's
spamBlocker, add info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com to your Allowed Sender
List.
Yahoo!: If our email gets filtered into your [bulk] folder, open the
message and click on the [Not Spam] button above the header information.
Then follow the steps to confirm that future messages from us will be
delivered to your Inbox.
Hotmail: Click the [Options] link next to the main menu tabs. Under
[Mail Handling] select Safe List. Enter the domain –
simplysouthernscrapbook.com – and click to [Add] it to the list. e-Mail
Spam Filter Software: Enter the domain – simplysouthernscrapbook.com –
on the filter's whitelist. Check the spam filtering software's help
information for specific instructions on how to whitelist.
Other Filters: If you find that our emails are filtered to a junk
folder, add our "from" address (info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com) to
your address book or contact list.
Children's Policy
Children 10 and under will
be admitted free of charge to the showroom floor with a paying adult. Please keep in
mind that make and takes are not provided for children 10 and under.
No children under age 10
are admitted to classes or crops parties. Children 10 or older may
purchase tickets to these events.
No strollers greater than 36
inches in length measured at their longest, or widest point, or any
type of rolling bag will be permitted on the showroom floor.
Strollers carrying packages and not children are considered rolling
totes. No
exceptions.
A baggage check area is
available to store any of these items during the show for a small
fee. Additional information on the baggage check area is
listed above.

The 2007 Layout, Card and Photo Contest sponsored by Scrapbooking & Beyond, Paper
Creations and Creative TECHniques Magazine is open only to show attendees. All entries
must be submitted in person on the exhibit floor.
How do I request a special ADA accommodation?
The Von
Braun Center
meets all ADA guidelines for accessibility. However, to request a
special accommodation, please send an email to
info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com at least 7 days prior to the
convention opening date with your request and contact information.

How do I contact show management during the show dates?
You will not able to contact the show management between
October 3rd
and October 7th by email or by phone. Due to the
responsibilities with the convention, we are not able to answer calls,
or read and return emails. If you need to get a message to someone
attending the convention, you may try contacting the hotel in which they
are staying and leave a message.

Can I
have someone pick up my tickets?
This year
the Simply Southern Scrapbook Convention and Paper Artist Expo will have
"ticketless" classes. Therefore, there will not be printed
tickets for our online registrants for the classes. The attendee
will show a photo ID at the classroom check-in prior to the workshop
start time to confirm against our class rosters. A wristband will
be provided in lieu of showroom
floor passes and crop tickets. We will have
someone available at the pre-registration desk to pick up these items
throughout the event until 12:00 midnight each evening for our
pre-registered guests. If it becomes absolutely necessary for
someone else to pick up tickets, we must have a letter sent to us by
email before September 30th at
info@simplysouthernscrapbook.com stating who will pick up the
tickets, the name of the purchaser of the tickets, the order number and
a contact number were we can call and confirm. The person picking
up the tickets must also have a copy of the same email to show us.
The ticket booth will be open for our guests that did not pre-register
starting at 12:00 noon on Thursday to purchase tickets. Those
attendees purchasing tickets during the show will receive a printed
ticket to the workshops.

I
cannot attend the show; can someone pick up my workshop kits and crop
bags and mail them to me?
We are
not staffed to handle these types of requests. Please do not ask
that we do this for you. If you are unable to attend, you may wish
to try to cancel your classes, or sell the tickets.

Unable to authorize
payment: SGS-005003: The order already exists in the database.
I f you are using any version of Internet Explorer 6
then Microsoft has a fix for this problem. The link
to Microsoft for the update to fix this problem is provided below.
A temporary
solution is to shut off your
computer and wait 30 seconds before restarting it, or simply choose
the RESTART option. This will
reset your shopping basket. Once your computer has rebooted, please
return to
Simply Southern Scrapbook and place your order again. To
help eliminate any error codes, It is essential that your fill out
your information correctly when checking out. Our software is
designed to alert us when a duplicate order has been received, so
don't worry, we guarantee you will never be billed twice for a
duplicate order.
